નિર્ગમન 1:16

“જ્યારે તમે હિબ્રૂ સ્ત્રીઓની પ્રસૂતિ કરાવવા માટે ખાટલા પાસે જાઓ ત્યારે જો તેઓને છોકરા જન્મે તો તેઓને મારી નાખવા. પણ જો છોકરી જન્મે તો તમારે તેઓને જીવતી રહેવા દેવી.”

And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.
