निर्गमन 1:12

पर ज्यों-ज्यों वे उनको दुःख देते गए त्यों-त्यों वे बढ़ते और फैलते चले गए; इसलिए वे इस्राएलियों से अत्यन्त डर गए।

But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.
