Exodus 19:9

Daarna zeide de Here tot Mozes: Zie, Ik kom tot u in een donkere wolk, opdat het volk kan horen, wanneer Ik met u spreek, en zij ook voor altoos in u geloven. En Mozes deelde de woorden van het volk aan de Here mee.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.
