เมื่อพ่อตาของโมเสสเห็นงานทั้งปวงที่โมเสสกระทำเพื่อพลไพร่​เช่นนั้น​ จึงกล่าวว่า “​นี่​ท่านใช้​วิธี​อะไรปฏิบั​ติ​กับพลไพร่​เล่า​ ​เหตุ​ไรท่านจึงนั่งทำงานอยู่​แต่ผู้เดียว​ และพลไพร่ทั้งปวงก็ยืนล้อมท่านตั้งแต่เช้าจนเย็น”

And when Moses’ father in law saw all that he did to the people, he said, What is this thing that thou doest to the people? why sittest thou thyself alone, and all the people stand by thee from morning unto even?
