പുറപ്പാടു 18:26

അവർ എല്ലാസമയത്തും ജനത്തിന്നു ന്യായംവിധിച്ചു വന്നു; വിഷമമുള്ള കാര്യം അവർ മോശെയുടെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരും; ചെറിയ കാര്യം ഒക്കെയും അവർ തന്നേ തീർക്കും.

And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.
