నిర్గమకాండం 17:14

అప్పుడు యెహోవా మోషేతో “చిరకాలం జ్ఞాపకం ఉండేలా పుస్తకంలో ఈ విషయం రాసి అది యెహోషువకు వినిపించు. నేను అమాలేకీయులను ఆకాశం కింద నామరూపాలు లేకుండా పూర్తిగా తుడిచి పెట్టేస్తాను” అన్నాడు.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.
