Men folket var så uttorkade och i desperat behov av vatten att de fortsatte att klaga på Mose och muttrade: ”Varför förde du oss ut ur Egypten? Var det för att vi, våra barn och vår boskap skulle dö av törst?”

And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?
