Josuë deed wat Moses hem had gezegd. Hij trok uit, om Amalek te bestrijden, terwijl Moses, Aäron en Choer de top van de heuvel beklommen.

So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
