இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் அதற்கு மன்னா என்று பெயரிட்டார்கள்; அது கொத்துமல்லி அளவாகவும் வெண்மைநிறமாகவும் இருந்தது, அதின் ருசி தேனிட்ட பணியாரத்தைப்போல இருந்தது.

And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna: and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.
