निर्गमन 16:4

तब यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, “देखो, मैं तुम लोगों के लिये आकाश से भोजनवस्तु बरसाऊँगा; और ये लोग प्रतिदिन बाहर जाकर प्रतिदिन का भोजन इकट्ठा करेंगे, इससे मैं उनकी परीक्षा करूँगा, कि ये मेरी व्यवस्था पर चलेंगे कि नहीं।

¶ Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.
