మోషే నాయకత్వంలో ప్రజలు ఎర్ర సముద్రం దాటిన తరువాత మూడు రోజులు ప్రయాణించి షూరు ఎడారి ప్రాంతానికి చేరుకున్నారు. అక్కడ వాళ్ళకు తాగడానికి నీళ్లు దొరకలేదు. తరువాత మారాకు చేరుకున్నారు.

So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
