Nang makita ng Israel ang kapangyarihan ni Yahweh na ginamit laban sa mga taga-Ehipto, pinarangalan ng mga tao si Yahweh, at sila ay nagtiwala kay Yahweh at sa kaniyang lingkod na si Moises.
