అది ఐగుప్తు సేనలకూ ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల సమూహనికీ మధ్య నిలిచింది. ఆ మేఘం ఆ రాత్రంతా ఐగుప్తు సైన్యానికి చీకటి కమ్మేలా, అదే సమయంలో ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలకు వెలుగు ఉండేలా చేసింది.

And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.
