Toen dan ook aan den koning van Egypte werd bericht, dat het volk was gevlucht, sloeg de stemming van Farao en zijn hovelingen jegens het volk om, en ze dachten: Wat hebben we toch gedaan, dat we Israël uit onze dienst hebben laten wegtrekken?
