എന്നാൽ അവർ ദേശത്തു ഉഴലുന്നു; മരുഭൂമിയിൽ കുടുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഫറവോൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളെക്കുറിച്ചു പറയും.
