രാത്രി മുഴുവനും മിസ്രയീമ്യരുടെ സൈന്യവും യിസ്രായേല്യരുടെ സൈന്യവും തമ്മിൽ അടുക്കാതവണ്ണം അതു അവയുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ വന്നു; അവർക്കു മേഘവും അന്ധകാരവും ആയിരുന്നു; ഇവർക്കോ രാത്രിയെ പ്രകാശമാക്കിക്കൊടുത്തു.

And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.
