నిర్గమకాండం 13:3

అప్పుడు మోషే ప్రజలను సమకూర్చి ఇలా చెప్పాడు. “మీరు ఐగుప్తులో బానిసత్వం నుండి విడుదల పొంది బయటకు వచ్చిన ఈ రోజును జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకోండి. యెహోవా తన బలమైన చేతులు చాపి ఆ దాస్యం నుండి మిమ్మల్ని విడిపించాడు. మీరు పొంగ జేసే పిండితో చేసిన రొట్టెలు తినకూడదు.

¶ And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.
