யாத்திராகமம் 12:39

எகிப்திலிருந்து அவர்கள் கொண்டுவந்த பிசைந்தமாவைப் புளிப்பில்லாத அப்பங்களாகச் சுட்டார்கள்; அவர்கள் எகிப்தில் இருக்கமுடியாதபடி துரத்திவிடப்பட்டதால், அது புளிக்காமல் இருந்தது; அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய பயணத்திற்கென்று ஒன்றும் ஆயத்தம்செய்யவில்லை.

And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.
