പുറപ്പാടു 12:15

ഏഴു ദിവസം നിങ്ങൾ പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പം തിന്നേണം; ഒന്നാം ദിവസം തന്നേ പുളിച്ച മാവു നിങ്ങളുടെ വീടുകളിൽനിന്നു നീക്കേണം; ഒന്നാം ദിവസംമുതൽ ഏഴാം ദിവസംവരെ ആരെങ്കിലും പുളിപ്പുള്ള അപ്പം തിന്നാൽ അവനെ യിസ്രായേലിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
