പുറപ്പാടു 12:12

ഈ രാത്രിയിൽ ഞാൻ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുകൂടി കടന്നു മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുള്ള മനുഷ്യന്റെയും മൃഗത്തിന്റെയും കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെ ഒക്കെയും സംഹരിക്കും; മിസ്രയീമിലെ സകലദേവന്മാരിലും ഞാൻ ന്യായവിധി നടത്തും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.
