નિર્ગમન 12:17

તમારે બેખમીર રોટલીનું પર્વ પાળવું, કારણ કે એ જ દિવસે હું તમારા લોકોને મિસર દેશમાંથી બહાર લાવ્યો હતો. તેથી એ દિવસે તમારા વંશજોએ પરંપરા મુજબ આ વિધિ પાળવો.

And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
