โมเสสกับอาโรนก็​ได้​กระทำบรรดามหัศจรรย์​เหล่​านั้นต่อพระพักตร์​ฟาโรห์​ และพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงกระทำให้พระทัยของฟาโรห์​แข​็งกระด้างไป ท่านจึงไม่ยอมปล่อยชนชาติอิสราเอลให้ออกไปจากแผ่นดินของท่าน

And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land.
