ESTER 9:19

Perciò, i Giudei delle villate che abitano nelle terre non murate, celebrano il quartodecimo giorno del mese di Adar, con allegrezza, e con conviti, e con festa, e con mandar messi di vivande gli uni agli altri.

Therefore the Jews of the villages, that dwelt in the unwalled towns, made the fourteenth day of the month Adar a day of gladness and feasting, and a good day, and of sending portions one to another.
