När de dag efter dag hade sagt så till honom utan att han lyssnade till dem, talade de om det för Haman för att se om Mordokajs förklaring skulle godtas. Han hade nämligen berättat för dem att han var jude.

Now it came to pass, when they spake daily unto him, and he hearkened not unto them, that they told Haman, to see whether Mordecai’s matters would stand: for he had told them that he was a Jew.
