അഞ്ചല്ക്കാർ രാജകല്പന പ്രമാണിച്ചു ക്ഷണത്തിൽ പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോയി; ശൂശൻരാജധാനിയിലും ആ തീർപ്പു പരസ്യം ചെയ്തു; രാജാവും ഹാമാനും കുടിപ്പാൻ ഇരുന്നു; ശൂശൻപട്ടണമോ കലങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

The posts went out, being hastened by the king’s commandment, and the decree was given in Shushan the palace. And the king and Haman sat down to drink; but the city Shushan was perplexed.
