Ester 2:9

Jungfrun [Ester] behagade honom [Hege] och hon vann hans välvilja (blev vänligt bemött). Han gav henne omgående hennes skönhetsbehandlingar [rengörande behandlingar; med tvål, salvor och parfymer] och hennes ranson [troligen den kost hon blev tilldelad] och de sju tärnorna som var utvalda för henne från kungens hus (hushåll) och han flyttade henne och hennes tärnor till den bästa platsen i kvinnornas hus.

And the maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave her her things for purification, with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, which were meet to be given her, out of the king’s house: and he preferred her and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women.
