Ester 2:8

Setelah raja memberi perintah, maka para petugas dari kerajaan pergi mencari beberapa gadis cantik di seluruh provinsi. Maka petugas yang sudah ditunjuk dari setiap provinsi tersebut membawa para gadis itu ke asrama para istri raja— termasuk Ester. Adapun raja sudah menempatkan Hegai sebagai penanggung jawab atas mereka.

¶ So it came to pass, when the king’s commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was brought also unto the king’s house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.
