એસ્તેર 2:20

મોર્દખાયની સૂચના પ્રમાણે એસ્તેરે પોતાની જાત તથા ગોત્ર કોઈને જણાવ્યાં નહોતાં. એસ્તેર મોર્દખાયના ઘરમાં રહેતી હતી ત્યારની જેમ આ વેળાએ પણ તે તેની આજ્ઞાનું પાલન કરતી હતી.

Esther had not yet shewed her kindred nor her people; as Mordecai had charged her: for Esther did the commandment of Mordecai, like as when she was brought up with him.
