Ngayon ang mga taong malapit sa kanya ay sina Carshena, Shethar, Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena at Memucan, pitong prinsipe ng Persia at Media. May paraan sila ng paglapit sa hari, at may pinakamataas na mga katungkulan sa loob ng kaharian.
