เพราะว่ามนุษย์​ไม่รู้​วาระของตน ปลาติ​ดอย​ู่ในอวนอั​นร​้ายฉันใด และนกถู​กด​ักติ​ดอย​ู่ในบ่วงแร้วฉันใด วาระอั​นร​้ายก็มาถึ​งบ​ุตรทั้งหลายของมนุษย์ เขาก็​ถู​กวาระอั​นร​้ายนั้นดักจับติดโดยฉับพลันเหมือนกันฉันนั้น

For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.
