பிரசங்கி 9:2

எல்லோருக்கும் எல்லாம் ஒரேவிதமாக நடக்கும்; நீதிமானுக்கும் துன்மார்க்கனுக்கும், நல்லகுணமும் சுத்தமும் உள்ளவனுக்கும் சுத்தமில்லாதவனுக்கும், பலியிடுகிறவனுக்கும் பலியிடாதவனுக்கும், ஒரேவிதமாக நடக்கும்; நல்லவனுக்கு எப்படியோ பொல்லாதவனுக்கும் அப்படியே; ஆணையிடுகிறவனுக்கும் ஆணையிடப் பயப்படுகிறவனுக்கும் சமமாக நடக்கும்.

All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath.
