હવે આ નગરમાં એક ખૂબ ગરીબ પણ બુદ્ધિમાન માણસ રહેતો હતો. તે જાણતો હતો કે નગરને કેવી રીતે બચાવવું, પોતાની બુદ્ધિ અને સલાહથી તેણે નગરને બચાવ્યું પણ થોડા સમય પછી સર્વ તેને ભૂલી ગયા.

Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man.
