ഇതൊക്കെയും ഞാൻ കണ്ടു; മനുഷ്യന്നു മനുഷ്യന്റെമേൽ അവന്റെ ദോഷത്തിന്നായി അധികാരമുള്ള കാലത്തു സൂര്യന്നു കീഴെ നടക്കുന്ന സകലപ്രവൃത്തിയിലും ഞാൻ ദൃഷ്ടിവെച്ചു. ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ അടക്കം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു വിശ്രാമം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നതും

All this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: there is a time wherein one man ruleth over another to his own hurt.
