സഭാപ്രസംഗി 8:17

സൂര്യന്റെ കീഴിൽ നടക്കുന്ന പ്രവൃത്തി ആരാഞ്ഞറിവാൻ മനുഷ്യന്നു കഴിവില്ല എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സകല പ്രവൃത്തിയെയും കണ്ടു; മനുഷ്യൻ എത്ര പ്രയാസപ്പെട്ടു അന്വേഷിച്ചാലും അതിനെ ഗ്രഹിക്കയില്ല; ഒരു ജ്ഞാനി തന്നേയും അതിനെ ഗ്രഹിപ്പാൻ നിരൂപിച്ചാൽ അവന്നു സാധിക്കയില്ല.

Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea further; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it.
