ไปยังเรือนที่​มี​การไว้​ทุกข์​​ก็ดี​กว่าไปยังเรือนที่​มี​การเลี้ยงกัน เพราะนั่นเป็นวาระสุดท้ายของมนุษย์​ทั้งปวง​ และผู้​ที่​ยั​งม​ี​ชี​วิตอยู่จะเอาเหตุ​การณ์​นั้นใส่​ไว้​ในใจ

¶ It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart.
