સભાશિક્ષક 7:2

ઉજવણીના ઘરમાં જવા કરતાં શોકના ઘરમાં જવું સારું છે. કેમ કે પ્રત્યેક મનુષ્યની જિંદગીનો અંત મૃત્યુ જ છે. જીવતો માણસ તે વાત પોતાના હૃદયમાં ઠસાવી રાખશે.

¶ It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart.
