பிரசங்கி 5:8

ஒரு தேசத்தில் ஏழைகள் ஒடுக்கப்படுகிறதையும், நியாயமும் நீதியும் புரட்டப்படுகிறதையும் நீ கண்டால், அதைக்குறித்து ஆச்சரியப்படாதே; உயர்ந்தவன்மேல் உயர்ந்தவன் காவலாளியாக இருக்கிறான்; அவர்கள்மேல் உயர்ந்தவரும் ஒருவருண்டு.

¶ If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.
