സഭാപ്രസംഗി 5:2

അതിവേഗത്തിൽ ഒന്നും പറയരുതു; ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ ഒരു വാക്കു ഉച്ചരിപ്പാൻ നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ബദ്ധപ്പെടരുതു; ദൈവം സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലും നീ ഭൂമിയിലും അല്ലോ; ആകയാൽ നിന്റെ വാക്കു ചുരുക്കമായിരിക്കട്ടെ.

Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
