ప్రసంగి 3:19

ఎందుకంటే జంతువులకు జరుగుతున్నట్టే మనుషులకీ జరుగుతూ ఉంది. ఇద్దరి గతీ ఒక్కటే. జంతువులు చనిపోతాయి, మనుషులూ చనిపోతారు. జీవులన్నిటికీ ఒక్కటే ప్రాణం. జంతువుల కంటే మనుషులకు ఎక్కువేమీ లేదు. అంతా ఆవిరిలాగా నిష్ప్రయోజనం కదా!

For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
