ข้าพเจ้าจึงหันมาพิ​เคราะห์​​สติปัญญา​ ความบ้าบอและความเขลา เพราะคนที่มาภายหลังกษั​ตริ​ย์จะทำอะไรได้​บ้าง​ เขาก็กระทำสิ่งที่เขากระทำกันมานานแล้​วน​ั้นได้

¶ And I turned myself to behold wisdom, and madness, and folly: for what can the man do that cometh after the king? even that which hath been already done.
