​แล​้วข้าพเจ้าหันมาดูบรรดาสิ่งที่มือข้าพเจ้ากระทำ และความเหน็ดเหนื่อยที่ข้าพเจ้าทุ่มเทลงไปและ ​ดู​​เถิด​ ​ทุ​กอย่างก็เป็นความว่างเปล่าและความวุ่นวายใจ และไม่​มีประโยชน์​อะไรภายใต้​ดวงอาทิตย์​

Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.
