నా కోసం వెండి బంగారాలను, వివిధ దేశాల రాజులకు, సంస్థానాల అధిపతులకు ఉండేటంత సంపదను సమకూర్చుకున్నాను. గాయకులనూ గాయకురాళ్ళనీ, మనుషులు కోరేవాటన్నిటినీ సంపాదించుకుని అనేకమంది స్త్రీలనూ ఉంచుకున్నాను.

I gathered me also silver and gold, and the peculiar treasure of kings and of the provinces: I gat me men singers and women singers, and the delights of the sons of men, as musical instruments, and that of all sorts.
