ఎందుకంటే మిమ్మల్ని నాశనం చేయాలన్నంత కోపగించిన యెహోవా మహోగ్రతను చూసి భయపడ్డాను. ఆ సమయంలో కూడా యెహోవా నా మనవి ఆలకించాడు.

For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also.
