உபாகமம் 9:25

“உங்களை அழிப்பேன் என்று யெகோவா சொன்னதினால், நான் முன்புபோல யெகோவாவின் சமுகத்தில் இரவும்பகலும் நாற்பது நாட்கள் விழுந்துகிடந்தேன்; அப்பொழுது நான் யெகோவாவை நோக்கிச் செய்த விண்ணப்பம் என்னவென்றால்:

Thus I fell down before the LORD forty days and forty nights, as I fell down at the first; because the LORD had said he would destroy you.
