Vet (ha intim kunskap) därför idag att Herren din Gud (Jahveh Elohim) är han som går över framför dig som en förtärande eld. Han ska förgöra dem och han ska ta ner dem inför dig, så ska du driva ut dem och få dem att förgås med hast som Herren (Jahveh) har talat till dig.
