ആവർത്തനപുസ്തകം 9:7

നീ മരുഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചു എന്നു ഓർക്ക; മറന്നുകളയരുതു; മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ട നാൾമുതൽ ഈ സ്ഥലത്തു വന്നതുവരെയും നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവയോടു മത്സരിക്കുന്നവരായിരുന്നു.

¶ Remember, and forget not, how thou provokedst the LORD thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the LORD.
