ആകയാൽ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു ആ നല്ലദേശം അവകാശമായി തരുന്നതു നിന്റെ നീതിനിമിത്തം അല്ലെന്നു അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾക; നീ ദുശ്ശാഠ്യമുള്ള ജനമല്ലോ;

Understand therefore, that the LORD thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people.
