व्यवस्थाविवरण 9:6

“इसलिए यह जान ले कि तेरा परमेश्वर यहोवा, जो तुझे वह अच्छा देश देता है कि तू उसका अधिकारी हो, उसे वह तेरे धार्मिकता के कारण नहीं दे रहा है; क्योंकि तू तो एक हठीली जाति है।

Understand therefore, that the LORD thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people.
