​ผู้​ทรงเลี้ยงท่านทั้งหลายด้วยมานาในถิ่นทุ​รก​ันดาร ซึ่งบรรพบุรุษของท่านไม่​ทราบ​ เพื่อว่าพระองค์จะทรงกระทำให้ท่านถ่อมใจและทดลองท่าน เพื่อกระทำให้​เก​ิดประโยชน์​แก่​ท่านในบั้นปลาย

Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;
