ഒലിവുവൃക്ഷവും തേനും ഉള്ള ദേശം; സുഭിക്ഷമായി ഉപജീവനം കഴിയാകുന്നതും ഒന്നിന്നും കുറവില്ലാത്തതുമായ ദേശം; കല്ലു ഇരിമ്പായിരിക്കുന്നതും മലകളിൽനിന്നു താമ്രം വെട്ടി എടുക്കുന്നതുമായ ദേശം.

A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.
